"STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT GOING WITH STATEFARM!!!!!!! I had a very disappointing experience with State Farm that I feel others should be aware of. First, I was denied a homeowners policy based on what I believe was inaccurate information. The determination about my roof condition was made using photos that did not appear to be of my home and were estimated to be 8–12 years old. This raised serious concerns about the accuracy of their underwriting process. Because of this, I made the decision to switch providers. I contacted State Farm on April 10, 2026 to discontinue my auto insurance and have call logs to support this. However, the issue did not end there. State Farm later reported to the State of Georgia that I only had coverage for one day, which is completely incorrect. I had active, prepaid coverage beginning March 26, 2026, and there was no lapse during that time. As a result of this incorrect reporting, I received a notice from the Georgia Tax Commissioner’s Office stating that I had a lapse in coverage and was assessed a $25 penalty. This has caused unnecessary stress and administrative issues that I am now forced to resolve. I am currently working to have this corrected, but this experience has raised serious concerns about record accuracy, reporting practices, and overall reliability. I strongly encourage others to review their documentation carefully and keep detailed records when dealing with this company."

"Switched my insurance over from USAA to State Farm and I bundled auto, renters, and personal items. I worked with James and Melissa to do so, I think working over the phone with them was the best over the phone communication I’ve ever had with a company. The firm must have a very high standard which was apparent from their communication. I look forward to having them as auto insurance."

Unfortunately, the individual who answered the phone was not helpful in resolving my concern. During the call, I overheard comments that appeared to be complaints about immigrants. "I have Jeremy Higginbotham as my state Farm insurance agent over 10 years with two autos, a property, a renter insurance and each time i got my autos bills i like to pay my bill 6 month in advance of each auto and my property as well and renter for my daughter i set as automatic payment. I found out something that was not right, i got letter from county that my car is on Pending Registration Suspension, and i didn't have insurance cover for month and my daughter drives this car to school, i sent email to the owner for week, no one respond then i made a phone call, now i found out the owner never check his email as his stuff didn't know what is going on on my case, so i had to explain and sent him the copy of the letter from county again, and he said he will find out how to solve this problem as he said the girl work there left the company and didn't complete my new quote policy of my change as i bought new car. any way a week later he didn't call me back, so i went to their office, he said he will call me back after he discuss with owner, and third week he called me back that i have two options to solve this problem, i think this problem they should responsible to it directly, not me to pay for the fine to county and other things is they put wrong information in my car policy even i was sitting there i told all that, my dad age 22 years old, my driven year is 35 years (wrong), i like STATE FARM BUT I NEED TO FIND NEW AGENT"
